Description: “THE BEACHCOMBERS” Artist: Dorothy Kindell

Dorothy Kindell is a well-known California Pottery Artist. Her work is famous for it’s style and detail. Made in the late 1930’s to early 1940’s, her work was somewhat racey and suggestive. This piece is a fun beach hat with 2 sets of legs from underneath! It measures 11” long and is in excellent condition. It is signed by the artist on the underside. Current book value is $125.00.

Description: “MERMAIDS” Artist: Dorothy Kindell

This wonderful set of wall hanging mermaids is right back in style today! Famous in the 1950’s many California potteries made bathroom decorations. The most famous were produced from Freeman-McFarlin Pottery. This set of 3 mermaids are in excellent condition. They range in size from 5” to 8” long. The mother of pearl sheen adds character to their tails! The current book value is $125.
