Fundraising is the life and breath of every non-profit organization. The Miracle Recovery Center in Ventura, in conjunction with the Ventura County Star's new InsideVCGolf.com website is proud to announce the holding of its first on-line Auction. The auction will be taking place November 9th through November 18th. It will be heavily advertised to the golfer database of Ventura County through broadcast emails to our extensive database. Banners will also be included on the InsideVCGolf.com website. Your donation of a gift certificate or product to Miracle Recovery Centers will be an integral part of this on-line Auction. Over a 10 day period, residents of Ventura County will be able to log on and offer bids for your certificate or product. At the end of the auction, the highest bidder will be declared the winner and the proceeds will be given to the Miracle Recovery Centers of Ventura. Founded as 'Miracle House' in 1985, the program began as an intensive residential treatment facility for women with drug and alcohol problems. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to meet the growing needs of Ventura County's communities. The Centers now provide a variety of treatment modalities and recovery services, both residential and outpatient, to young children, adolescents, women, and men, servicing an estimated 1200 people annually.
