| Joe Buttitta
Class-A PGA Golf Professional specializing in
teaching at Westlake Golf Course in Westlake Village, California, just
outside Los Angeles.
Buttitta has long been active in golf and the
media in Southern California for over 25 years. Along with his daily
lessons at Westlake G.C., Buttitta was also the host of the PGA-sponsored
‘Talkin’ Golf’, a live call-in show on XTRA Sports-690, a
50,000-watt, all-sports radio station.
From 1980-84 he was the Director of Sports for
KTLA, Channel 5, where he was featured on the News at Ten and handled the
play-by-play for the California Angels, along with UCLA football and
basketball. From 1985-1988 he reported sports for KTTV, Fox-11 News.
Joe has written instructional articles for GOLF
TIPS Magazine and ‘PLAYER’ Magazine, both national publications, and
has written a weekly golf column in the Los Angeles Daily News. He has
contributed to Golf World Magazine, Executive Golfer Magazine, Golf News,
and is currently featured on the Internet’s PGA.com.
He says his most recent joy in golf is
discovering the Natural Golf Swing system.
